As Wishwork scaled, internal UI decisions became increasingly inconsistent across products. Different products evolved at different stages, which led to fragmented patterns in layout, components, and interaction design. As a result, onboarding new designers required extensive manual explanation of brand logic, past decisions, and hidden constraints that were not documented anywhere. There was no unified structure to guide redesign efforts or support future product growth, which made every new feature or product feel like a separate design exercise rather than part of a cohesive system.

To build a scalable internal design system that preserved brand identity, improved consistency, and enabled faster iteration.
